Bill Miller has been in softball almost as long as balls, bats and bases. Or so it seems to those who are aware of his many activities in the game over the years. He has played ball for 43 years, coached for 35 years and umpired for 37 years.
Bill was appointed Ontario's Provincial Coordinator for SPN in 1989 and assumed Regional Director position in 1993. He has served as National Chairman since 1995, and chaired various committees over the years, including the SPN marketing committee since 1994.
Bill's objective, as one of the original founders of Slo-Pitch national, was to offer divisions of play for not only the best players in Canada, but for other age and ability levels, down to the truly garss-roots players. His mandate is to "keep it simple" and to be a unique organization, offering a tournament program different from and better than those offered by any other softball organization.
