Slo-Pitch National Announces New Regional Newfoundland and Labrador Director and Provincial Coordinator, Robert French and Bonnie Poole

Slo-Pitch National is excited to introduce Newfoundland and Labrador’s newest Regional Director and Provincial Coordinator, Robert French and Bonnie Poole

Robert French Regional Director

Bonnie Poole Provincial Coordinator,

With 25 years of player experience under his belt, Rob has been an avid participant in many Regional, Provincial, and National tournaments on both Coed and Men’s teams around the city.

Over the course of the last 15 seasons he has served as President of the Molson Media Coed League, and doubled-up in the same role for the Paradise Senior Men’s League in 2014.

Rob first joined our family back in 2009 as the Avalon Area Coordinator.  His enthusiasm for the game and commitment to our organization has led him into leadership positions such as Regional and Provincial tournament Convener and member on the host committee for many SPN tournaments in St. John’s.

Our newest Provincial Coordinator, Bonnie Poole, entered her first Slo-Pitch National tournament back in 1998 as a player in an SPN affiliate league, Mount Pearl Ladies Slo-Pitch.

She has provided continued support to both organizations over the last 2 decades focusing much of her attention on her involvement convening Women’s and Coed qualifiers.

In 2015, Bonnie accepted a position with SPN in the role of Women’s Director and had the opportunity to demonstrate her knowledge and expertise in our sport when she convened her first Ladies Provincial tournament during the 2019 season.

We feel incredibly fortunate to be able to welcome both of these capable and deserving individuals into their new role. We look forward to working with you on developing on our program on the East Coast and making strides toward the betterment of Slo-Pitch National across the country.
